Six easy ways to save money when planning to see the Reds play at Great American Ball Park
Saving money at Great American Ball Park is easy if you know what the best options are on tickets and concessions
A Cincinnati Reds game is even more enjoyable when you’re getting the most out of your dollar. Saving money at Great American Ball Park is easy if you know what the best money-saving options are on tickets and concessions.
With these recommendations, you can get the most out of your entertainment dollars with these six tips to experience the home of the Reds less expensively.
3-2-1 Tuesdays
For all Tuesday Reds home games this season, fans can buy $3 beers (12-oz Bud and Bud Light cans), $2 hot dogs and $1 ice cream cups, courtesy of Budweiser and Bud Light. My daughter, son-in-law and I have taken advantage of this great deal on these concession items, especially the hot dogs!
Thirsty Thursdays
With this popular promotion on Thursday games, fans can enjoy a lower level Reds ticket and concession credit towards your first drink. The $30 package includes a Field Box or Terrace Line ticket and a $10 Concessions Credit.
Family Sundays
Sunday home games at Great American Ball Park are Family Sundays presented by Klosterman Bakery. Families can save big on tickets with this offer by purchasing up to three half-price tickets with the purchase of a full-price ticket in select areas of the ballpark. It’s a great deal; a great way to spend quality time with your family while watching the Reds play.
Business Day Specials
I used to love Business Day Specials when I worked as a novelty vendor for SportsService at Riverfront Stadium and seeing all the Reds fans skipping out on work to watch a baseball game. (My commission from souvenir sales was pretty good too!) Some 40 years later, tickets for the Business Day Specials are still one of the best deals on tickets. For all 12:35 p.m. weekday games, the Reds offer a View Level seat loaded with $10 in concession credits for just $20.
Senior Days
For veteran Reds fans like myself Senior Days are one of the best deals around. Fans 50 and older may purchase non-premium tickets at half-price in advance of game day only. This deal is the one thing that makes me feel good about not being younger!
All You Can Eat Stand Passes
This deal had me at “all you can eat.” With the All You Can Eat Stand Pass you can enjoy some of your favorite ballpark menu items for one low price. These select stands offer unlimited soft drinks, popcorn, peanuts, chips and five hot dogs for as low as $25 per person. I’ve purchased this option multiple times this season. It’s a great value!
